The Island Players' Teen Actors Guild (IPTAG)
The Island PlayersTeen Actors Guild (IPTAG) was
established in 2000 to promote theater education for our
local teens 13 to 19 years of age. Theater education extends
to all aspects of live theater productions such as acting,
directing, producing, light and sound techniques, stage
management, costuming and props management. IPTAG members
meet once a month for informal training sessions and
participate in the production of their own IPTAG show, TIP 4 mainstage
shows, our Christmas show and the Young People's Summer
Workshop (YPSW). IPTAG acts in a supporting role for the
YPSW, both on and off stage. The YPSW production for 2013
is
"The Emperor's New Clothes".
