The Island Players have a history of encouraging the theatrical skills of young people. The biggest event for youth in the Golden Isles is our annual Young Peoples’ Summer Workshop (YPSW). Each year, we select and produce a show for a cast and crew ages, 8 to 18 for 12 stage performances.
We’re looking for people willing to help continue this tradition by contributing their time and talent to the community.

The Island Players Young Peoples Summer Workshop presents a musical, complete with live accompaniment, beautiful sets, costumes, and props. The YPSW musical is scheduled for July each year, with auditions in early May. Every year, the show is supported by a dedicated production staff.
